I thing you want to become a CA so here I am telling that to get admission to icwa you have to first enroll urself foundation course if you have done 10+2 and if you have done your graduation in B.com then you are eligible directly for ICWA Intermediate - Course Registration.

Here for your information I would like to inform you that last date for receipt Examination Application Forms without late fees is 30th September and with late fees (INR)300/- is 10th October, 2013. In case of online Examination Application with payment gateway by using Credit/Debit Card, the late fees of (INR)300/- will be waived if applied within 10th October, 2013.

Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWAI) offers Certificate in Accounting Technicians (CAT) Course of one year for 12th (10+2) passed and Under Graduates.

Important dates:
For June Term Examination 31st January
For December Term Examination 31st July

Eligibility
You should have pass 12th (10+2) examination are eligible to take admission in Foundation (Entry Level) Part-I of CAT Course.

A) Foundation Course (Entry Level) Part-I
Paper 1: Fundamentals of Financial Accounting.
Paper 2: Applied Business and Industrial Laws
Paper 3: Financial Accounting-2
Paper 4: Statutory Compliance

B) Competency Level – Part-II

The Institute of Cost and works Accountants of India (ICWAI) was established on 28th May, 1959 under the Cost and Works Accountants Act, 1959.

Cost Management Accountant CMA course is conducted by Institute of Cost and works Accountants of India (ICWAI)

There are 3 stages in CMA course i;e Foundation, Inter and Final.

If you want to become Cost Management Accountant, you should complete these three stages.

Students who have passed 10+2 are eligible for ICWA Foundation exam.

The Institute of Cost Accountants of India conducts Foundation exam four times in a year in the months of March, June, September and December.

If you passed ICWA Foundation exam, then you are eligible for ICWAI Inter.

If you have any graduation degree, then you are exempt from Foundation exam. You can directly enter into ICWAI Inter.

Foundation course:

Eligibility:

10th class or equivalent form a recognized board.
10+2 from a recognized board or an equivalent examination
Or
Diploma in commerce examination held by all India council of technical education

ICWA course duration:

Entire course consists of three stages foundation, intermediate and final.

Foundation: Minimum duration of the course is eight months.

Intermediate: Minimum duration of the course is Ten months.

Final: Minimum duration of the course is Eighteen months.

Documents required-

Enclosed the following Documents with application form –

Bank Draft

Attested Copy of Matriculation Certificate

Attested copy of 10+2 Certificate or Marks Statement

Three photographs attested and pasted on the form

For the intermediate course the Postal Tuition Fee, together with the study material will add up to Rs. 7000/. If the student need to have an Verbal Coaching then the fee will come up to Rs.11,000/- including study material.

All students who wish to join the course will have to put forward their Postal Application form.

The forms must be properly filled and must come with relevant documents and submitted to the respective Regional Councils only.
