Institute of Public Affairs Think Tank was started in 1940. Institute of Public Affairs is a right-wing, corporate funded think tank based in Melbourne. Institute of Public Affairs was one of a number of groups which came together to form the Liberal Party of Australia, and became an important fund raising body for the Liberal Party in Victoria.
