Ambedkar Polytechnic was established back in the year of 1986 by the Department of Training & Technical Education (D.T.T.E.), Govt. of N.C.T. of Delhi. Initially it shared its campus with the Pusa Polytechnic and on 6th Dec. 1996, it was shifted at its present location in Shakarpur, Delhi.
