Explain me what are the general requirements and the process for the admission in University of Victoria as I want to do a graduate course from there.

I would like to inform you that "Let there be light -- A multitude of the wise is the health of the world" is the motto of the University of Victoria which was established in 1963. The university was closely affiliated with and established by McGill University. The University is ranked among the top 200 universities in the world and ninth place in Canada in the 2012.

Admission Process:

Firstly, go to the official site of the University

Click “Admission,registration & record” tab on the home page of the site.

Then click “Apply for admission” from “Admissions”

From next page click “Apply for Admission” which is there at the end of the page.

On next page click “Create your profile”

General requirements

All candidates for Graduate Studies must complete minimum academic standards as published in the graduate academic calendar.

Candidate must submit all necessary documents as part of your application, with unofficial transcripts and contact information for two academic referees.

If your application satisfies the basic requirements, it will be forwarded for review and selection will be made by department to which one have applied.

Many departments have set very high standards than those set by the Faculty of Graduate Studies itself.
