TISS Admissions

I want to apply for the admission in the M.Phil or PhD programs of the TISS; will you please provide me with the list of the schools in the Mumbai campus and also the areas in which PhD and MPhil is conducted by the university? Will you also give the general admission requirement for the students appearing for PhD or MPhil?

TATA institute of social sciences or TISS is an institute which offers studies in the field of the social science. The institute was established in the year of 1936. The school has its campuses in the cities of Mumbai, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Tuljapur.

The entrance process for the M.Phil and PhD program is given in brief detail below:
Admission to the integrated M.Phil./Ph.D. programme is granted only once every academic year (in June/July), and direct admission to the Ph.D. programm are granted twice a year (in June/July and January/February).

Application for admission should be submitted in the prescribed form supplied with the Prospectus or downloaded from the Institute's official website. Applications must be complete in all respects, and attested copies of certificates must also be enclosed with the application.
Those applications which are incomplete will be rejected.

An Application Fee of Rs. 750/- must be submitted along with the application either by draft or personally at the institute. Submitted application Fee is non refundable.
Selected candidates will be called for an interview.
