Central Washington University, or CWU, is a publicly assisted university in Ellensburg, Washington in the United States. Admission Requirements for Former Students If you are a former CWU student the readmission process consists of: Official transcripts from any schools attended after CWU Completed online application If you were suspended, submit a written explanation in the essay portion of the online application. If you are an international student, submit a new Confidential Financial Statement and a bank statement less than three months old. Apply Now FIRST YEAR (FRESHMAN) STUDENT ADMISSIONS PROCESS Applicants with a 3.4 cumulative GPA or higher and have satisfied the CADR requirements (see below) will be automatically admitted regardless of ACT or SAT score*. Admission Essay is not required. Applicants with a 3.00 - 3.39 cumulative GPA who have satisfied the CADR requirements will be considered for admission based on grades AND test scores.
