The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at IIT Delhi is launching full time two-year M.Sc. (Economics) programme from July 2020 semester Admissions begin in July 2020. All India level entrance examination on 3 May 2020. Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc./B.Com /B.Stat./B.Math./ B.Tech/B.E. or equivalent) Minimum qualifications: CGPA of 5.5 for General/OBC/EWS (5.0 for SC/ST/PwD) on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 55% marks (50% for SC/ST/ PwD) in aggregate without rounding-off (of all the years/semesters of the qualifying degree, taking into account all subjects including languages and subsidiaries, all years combined). Program structure: Two years (4 semesters) Project in the third and final semester Core: 10 courses (3 or 4 credits each), Research seminar (3 credits), 2 Labs (4 credits each), and Project (3+9 credits) Program elective: 3 courses (3 credits each) Open elective: 2 courses (3 credits each) Total credits: 75 Important Dates ACTIVITY DATE AND TIME (IST) Submission of online application commences 02 March 2020 (12:00 noon) Last date for submission of online application and application fee 30 March 2020 (04:00 pm) Downloading of Admit card begins 17 April 2020 (12:00 noon) Entrance Test for M.Sc.
