The Department of Political Science was established in 1961 with an emphasis on teaching and research activities. Department is engaged in following academic activities:

M.A Admission

Eligibility-

B.A. (Hons.) examination in Political Science with 45% marks in aggregate. OR

B.A. with at least 45% marks in subject of Political Science/Public Administration/Sociology/History/Economics. OR

Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks.

Pass marks in the qualifying examinations for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe Category

5% relaxation in minimum eligibility condition for admission for blind/Physical and Visually Handicapped Candidates
