Hey I want to get there in The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists for taking clinical experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Can you tell me what the eligibility criterion to appear in the exam is?

To get certification in MRI clinical experience, you need to give an exam. For which, you have to keep certain things in mind before giving the exam.

General Guidelines:

Evaluation of requisition and/or medical record
Identification of patient
Documentation of patient history including allergies
Safety screening and patient education concerning the procedure
Patient care and assessment
Preparation of examination room
Select optimal imaging coil
Patient positioning
Protocol selection
Parameter selection
Image display, filming, and archiving

Requirements;
Candidates must also demonstrate competency in didactic coursework and an ARRT-specified list of clinical procedures by completing the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Didactic and Clinical Competency Requirements.

Exam requirements;
Candidates for Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification must pass ARRT’s Magnetic Resonance Imaging exam, which assesses the knowledge and cognitive skills underlying the intelligent performance of the tasks typically required of staff technologists practicing at entry-level within the discipline.

Applications for candidates who have completed an educational program in order to obtain eligibility can be obtained through individual program directors
