Sir I want to apply at The Laidlaw Memorial School and Junior College to get admission in elementary/primary 4th class and for that I need to take entrance exam so please can you tell me that how can I apply and also provide me the syllabus of the exam for preparation?

ou have to do registration and for that you have to pay Rs.1, 600/- by Draft in favour of ‘The Principal & Secretary, The Laidlaw Memorial School & Jr. College, Ketti’ payable at State Bank of India, Ketti Valley Branch, Code 7290 or by Cash. The Entrance Exam of Hunter College High School is given once per year, with no make-up dates or rescheduling. For the 2013-2014 year, the Exam will be given on January 10th, 2014. In the event of inclement weather, the snow date is scheduled for January 17th, 2014. As the last date to apply is over , so here i am providing the general information. Exam Pattern: The exam is designed to assess your learning. This test contains three sections: 50 multiple-choice English Language Arts questions A Writing Assignment 30 multiple-choice Mathematics questions Each multiple-choice question is followed by five possible answers: A, B, C, D, or E. You must choose best answer for each question. Students are given a total of three hours to complete the examination, including the Writing Assignment. In Critical Reading portion, your reading comprehension will be assessed. You will answer the questions about specific reading passages to show your ability to understand, interpret, & analyze a number of types of writing. You will read 6 passages of varying lengths. Each is followed by multiple choice questions about it. Every fifth line of each passage is numbered so that you can find part question refers to. In the Writing Assignment section, you will write either an essay or an autobiographical piece to demonstrate the originality, effectiveness, & use of detail in your writing. There is scrap paper in test booklet where you can jot down, outline thoughts, or compose a draft before writing full assignment. The Mathematics section tests your problem-solving ability.Applicants solve a variety of problems, including multi-step ones involving: estimation; computations with fractions, decimals, percents, & whole numbers rules of divisibility; simple probability; rate; average; ratio; time; money; area of shaded regions; perimeter; counting; visual & numerical pattern recognition;& three dimensional figures.
