Software Engineer – 3D Engine/Graphics
Location:
Samsung Electronics Research Institute - Staines (Twickenham, United Kingdom)

Main tasks to perform at this post:
Develop and implement areas of functionality and technology.
Have technical responsibility for one or more significant sections of the assigned project.
Perform feasibility studies, high level designs, and prototype coding activities.
Provide advice to the line and project managers.
Timely provision of written reports, following the attendance of meetings and resulting from other activities.
To support the Team Manager in identifying and training and development needs.
To work as a member of a team, encouraging team building, motivation and cultivate effective team relations.

Desired Skills & Experience:
A degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Natural Science, Mathematics, Engineering or any related discipline.
Proficiency in C, C++ programming languages.
A proven track record in real time embedded software development.
GLSL, shader development, debugging and optimization.
3D Game engine development.
Animation and UI effect development / prototyping.
UI Toolkit (Qt, etc) development and maintenance experience.
Performance optimization of Graphics and/or game engines.
Linux as development environment (HOST) and target environment.
