The Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program is offers for the advanced practice nurse as a primary care provider for clients across ages in a variety of settings. The program focuses on culturally sensitive care, incorporating health promotion and management of acute and chronic health problems. Program overview The Family Nurse Practitioner track is 48 credits including 630 clinical practice hours. This program is available in two modes Full-time students have to complete the credits in 28 months Part time students have to complete the credits is 36 months. The tracks are offered: Adult/Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (Post-Master's Certificate available) Family Nurse Practitioner (Post-Master's Certificate available) Nurse Anesthesia (Post-Master's Certificate available) The MSN graduate will learn the following things: Integrate theories and research findings from nursing and the related sciences to translate evidence into practice.
