Bose Institute was established in the year 1917. It is located at Kolkata, West Bengal, India . It is a research institute in the fields of Plant biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Physics, Chemistry, Animal physiology, Immunotechnology and Environmental science.

Bose Institute provides Integrated M.Sc.-Ph.D. Programmes in Life Sciences & Physical Science .

The areas of specialization of the course of Life Sciences are:
(i) Molecular & Cellular Biology,
(ii) Plant Molecular Biology & Biotechnology,
(iii) Biophysical Chemistry, and
(iv) Computational & Systems Biology.

The areas of specialization of the course of Physical Science are:
(i) Quantum Computational & Information,
(ii) Astroparticle Physics & Space Science,
(iii) Complex System,
(iv) Condensed Matter Physics.

Eligibility :

Programme whereas for Physical Science students must have passed B.Sc. Honours in Physics, B.E., B.Tech.

Applicants must have obtained at least 65% marks each in Madhyamik and 10+2 with 70% aggregate marks and more than 60% marks in B.Sc. (Honours) in any branch of Science, or B.Tech/B.E /MBBS. are eligible to apply for Life Sciences .

Admission Procedure :

Applicants must fill the rest of the form (generated with application number) manually and send it by regular mail along with all necessary documents to
