Next year my parents are planning to send me to CamBrain Hall school. please tell me something about the school.

Cambrian Hall is one of India's premier private schools which is residential-cum day, co-educational English Medium School.
It is certified with Indian School Certificate Examinations (ISCE), New Delhi.
It has all infrastructural facilities.

Curriculum:
Classes I to VIII:
Subjects: English Language, English Literature, History, Geography, Hindi, Mathematics, General Science, Sanskrit, Computer Science, General Knowledge, Moral Science, Environmental Education, Art and Craft, Dance, Music, SUPW and Physical Training.

Classes IX & X:
Subjects: English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, History & Civics, Geography, Hindi, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics Applications, Home Science, Computer Applications, Art, Commerce, Environmental Education.

Classes XI & XII:
Subjects:
a) Science – Physics, Chemistry, Math/Hindi, Biology/Computer Science/Economics, English, Environmental Studies.
b) Commerce – Math/Hindi, Accounts, Structure of Commerce, Economics/Home Science/Computer Science, English, Environmental Studies.
c) Humanities – Math/Hindi, History, Political Science, Econimics/Home Science/Computer Science, English, Environmental Studies.

Assessment:
a) Four Unit Tests in May, August, December and February
b) Half Yearly Examinations in October
c) Final Examinations in March
d) Homework assignments during both summer and winter vacations.

The school also offers various scholarships for the benefit of the students.
Scholarships:
a) A Cambrian Hall student securing a total grade of 5 points (with 90% and above marks in 5 subjects) in the ICSE examination will bot be charged any tuition fee in classes XI and XII.

b) A Cambrian Hall student securing a total of 6 points and 90% marks in the aggregate in the ICSE examination will be charged only half tuition fee in classes XI and XII.

c) Col. Shashi Memorial Scholarship of Rs. 2000 for standing first in ICSE examination.

d) Mrs. Yashoda Prem Hari Lal Memorial Merit-cum-Means scholarship of Rs. 100/- per month to the best student in class XII.

e) Maj. Gen. Pratap Bikram Shah Memorial Scholarship of Rs. 500/- to two students standing 1st in classes VI and VII.

f) Tarun Memorial scholarship of Rs, 500/- to a student standing 1st in class XI in the Science stream.

g) Dipali Shah Memorial Shield for the best girl athlete and Rs. 50/- for the best girl of Jodha House.

Admissions:
Age limit
In class 1 is 5 years and not over 5 years and 9 months on 31st March.

Registration opens every year
1st November to 31st January

Entrance examination
Examination usually held on 2nd Saturday of February
After this an interview session.

You can take theses dates as a tentative for the next year too as admission usually takes during this time only.
