I want to pursue d.ed course in Mumbai University so please Can anyone help me to know about the admission procedure, Eligibility and good colleges over the city.

The Doctor of Education (Ed.D. or D.Ed.),Latinoctor Educationis,is a terminal doctoral degree that has a research and/or professional focus. It prepares the student for academic, administrative, clinical, or research positions in educational, civil, and private organizations.
It is popular as Diploma in Education, is a two-year full time diploma programme. There are several teaching training institutes in India, which conduct Diploma in Education (D.Ed) programme. To be eligible, one has to pass 10+2 level of examination, from any recognized Board. Admissions to this programme in most of the states of India are done under the guidelines of State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) of each state. After pursuing D. Ed course, one can become teacher in any government or private school.
