The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts entrance examinations for inviting students to different course programs.
Biotechnology Course Details:

The department conducts 2 year's Masters course in Biotechnology (M. Biotech.) with ten students per batch.

1 year post MD/MS training programme for in service medical faculty, Ph.D. programmes in frontier areas of Medical Biotechnology and also summer training programme for University students.
At a given time 10-15 students are enrolled in Doctoral programme.
Faculty of department are conducting research in the following areas given below:
Molecular biology of malaria
Tuberculosis
Immunology of leprosy
Tuberculosis
Cancer.
This two year course was started in 1986.
The admission is through All India Entrance Examination

Important Dates:
Entrance Examination -15th June, 2014 (Sunday)
Result (to be declared)-18th June, 2014
