There are many types of Scholarships announced for Postgraduate Education in India, here I am providing you the details of some of them: Charpak Master’s Scholarship Charpak Master’s Scholarship is designed for one to two years of studies in France at the Master’s degree level. New benefit: Tuition fees of up to 6100€ Eligibility Criteria Applicant must - be an Indian national and reside in India. - be a student currently enrolled at an Indian Institution of higher learning or a young professional employed in a company for a maximum of 3 years. At the time of applying for the scholarship the application be 30 years old maximum The course must take place in France. If you have one semester or more of studies in another country, the scholarship will not be provided during that period An exception is there for Charpak scholarship holders who are currently completing their M1 in France. They may reapply for a 2nd year of funding in order to complete the M2. There is no automatic renewal of the scholarship at the M2 level. Acceptance is subject to academic performance at the M1 level and a new statement of purpose Non-scholarship holders currently pursuing M1 in France are not eligible for the scholarship Important Dates Deadline for submission of application 7th June 2015 Date of Results 18th June 2015 Aga Khan Foundation International Scholarship Programme 2015 The Aga Khan Foundation launched 2015-2016 International Scholarship Programme for students pursuing PG or PhD programme internationally. Eligibility Geographic Scope The Foundation accepts applications from nationals of the following countries: Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Syria, Egypt, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Madagascar and Mozambique. In France, Portugal, UK, USA and Canada, applications are accepted from those who are originally from one of the above developing countries, are interested in development-related studies and who have no other means of financing their education. Residency Requirement The Foundation only accepts applications of eligible nationals listed above who are residing in one of the countries where there are local Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), Aga Khan Education Services (AKES), or Aga Khan Education Board (AKEB) offices which process applications and interview candidates. Age Limit Preference is given to students under 30 years of age.
