The Railway Service Commission, Gorakhpur was established on 14 July, 1984. RRB-Gorakhpur carries out recruitment of Group 'C' staff of H.Q. Offices. Izatnagar Lucknow and Varanasi divisions of North Eastern Railway and for Research Designes & Standards Organisation (RDSO) - Lucknow.

Application:

Railway Recruitment Board calls for applications from appropriate candidates through "Employment News" (A publication of the Government of India).
The employment notification is also available on the web site as well as in the leading newspapers.
The applications are scrutinize for eligibility of the candidate.
Eligible candidates are then called for a written exam
The candidates will be required to pass a medical examination before appointment.
The selection of the candidates is based on merit and is subject to the rules and regulations issued by the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board), Government of India
