The Preparatory Courses IIT is One year duration program for SC/ST candidates to improve their intake in the B.Tech and Dual Degree programme. Generally 30 to 40 stundets from the non-qualified candidates list in the ranking order of JEE are taken this. Physically Disable (PD) candidates are also allowed for this. This program covers Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English subjects. It is residential program. The cutoff marks are not fixed for this program. JEE Advanced Cutoff for Preparatory Course (in cases where eligible SC, ST, and PwD candidates are less than 1.4 times the seats reserved for them): 2.5% in each subject and 8.75% in aggregate Cut off marks are based on following: Previous Year’s cutoff, Number of applicants for the exam, Number of available seats in IITs and their annual intake, and Difficulty level of the exam.
