Sandur Residential Composite Junior College was established in the year 1959.

The Sandur Residential School is a co-educational, english medium school.

The school follows the ICSE syllabus up to Std 10.

It admits both day scholars and boarders, from Kindergarten to Std 12.

For the benefit of candidates in Karnataka who want to study medicine or, engineering the school offers the State (PUC) syllabus for Stds 11 and 12.

Students are taken on annual excursions to different parts of the country

Apart from Hindi, languages taught at the school include Kannada, Tamil and Telugu.
