Hi friends do you know that, when Common Entrance Examination (CEE) will be conducted by Dibrugarh university? From which month Dibrugarh university will start distributing of application form for Common Entrance Examination (CEE)?

The Dibrugarh University gives admission through the Combined Entrance Examination, so please give me the eligibility required for CEE, & also give me the CEE paper pattern, syllabus, & important dates, or tell me from where I can get?

The Dibrugarh University CEE exam is being conducted only for admission into MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BE & B.Tech courses in various colleges in Assam, eligibility for this entrance examination is as following:

Eligibility
The students must have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English and must have obtained a minimum of 60% marks.

Paper pattern:
Physics : 100 Marks
Chemistry : 100 Marks
Biology : 100 Marks. (In case of biology, Botany 50 Marks and Zoology 50 Marks).
Mathematics : 100 Marks.

No, Assam CEE (Assam Common Entrance Exam) entrance examination is not conducted by Dibrugarh University for admission in B Tech Program.


Assam CEE (Assam Common Entrance Exam) entrance examination is conducted to offer admission in engineering courses - B.Tech or B.E. courses - within the Assam state. It is conducted by the Assam Science & Technology University (ASTU).


Eligibility Criteria

Nationality:
One must be an Indian citizen.


Age Criteria:
The age of one must lie between 17 to 21 years.
Age relaxation is of 3 years for SC/ST candidates and 1 year for B.Sc graduates.


Residential Eligibility:
One should be a permanent resident of Assam state.


For Engineering Degree Courses:
One must have passed in 12th or equivalent from recognized board or university.
One should have passed the exam with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English without any grace in one sitting.
One should have obtained 50% marks (45% for SC, 40% for ST) in the qualifying exam.


Assam CEE Exam Pattern

Mode of Exam:
The exam will be conducted through offline mode.


Duration:
The exam will be of 3 hours duration.


Number of Questions:
Question paper will contain 120 questions.


Type of Questions:
The question paper will be of multiple choice questions.


Marking Scheme:
4 marks will be provided for each right answer.


Negative Marking:
1 mark will be deducted for wrong answer.

Assam CEE Syllabus


Physics Syllabus:
Current electricity ,unit and measurement, laws of motion, magneto statics, work, motion in one dimension, energy and power, oscillation, waves, transference of heats, , electromagnetic waves, heat and thermodynamics, electron and photon, atom, ray optics, motion in three dimension, molecular and nuclei, wave and semiconductor and gravitation.

Chemistry Syllabus:
Atomic structure, redox reactions and electrochemistry, chemistry of heavy metals, no metals, boron family, nuclear chemistry, Some basic concept, solution, state of matters, organic compound containing halogens, classifications of organic compound, synthetic and natural polymer, chemical equilibrium, surface chemistry and nitrogen family, carbon family, some basic principle.

Mathematics Syllabus:
Sets, heights and distance, binomial theorems and its applications, law of motion projectile, relation between roots and coefficient numbers, arithmetic geometry and harmonic progression, complex numbers, arithmetic geometric series, integral calculus, polynomial, matrix and quadratics equations , conic section and family of circles.
