Hi buddy, I am thinking for doing PhD from Delhi university, so guys can you tell me that in which month Delhi university will start admission process for PhD program in 2012?

Sir I want to know about Delhi university PhD admission, how many departments in the PhD, when will be start admissions in this session?

You can do PhD in Department of Physics & Astrophysics.
The admission dates has been passed. I am giving you important dates for admission.

Last date for submission of application: - 30th June 2012
Display of list of candidates being called for interview:- 17th July 2012
Date of Written/ Interview (Tentative) 25, 26 * July 2012
Announcement of final result : Two days after the Exams/interview
Last date for submitting registration form with supervisors signature: 10th August 2012

I want to take admission in University of Delhi for Ph.D in Geography.Will you please provide the eligibility criteria?

The University of Delhi is a public central university located in Delhi, India. It is affiliated to UGC, NAAC, AIU.

As the last date to apply is over , so here i am providing the general information.

Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for admission to the Ph.D. Programme, a candidate must have obtained a
Master’s / M.Phil. degree of the University of Delhi, or any other recognized University,
or any degree recognized as equivalent in the subject in which the candidate wishes to
pursue a course of research, or in an allied subject. She / he must have obtained either a
minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grading in the M.Phil. degree or a minimum of
55% marks or equivalent grading in the Master’s degree.

Important Dates:
Last date to apply-January 31,2014
Courses will be available from January 6, 2014 to January 31, 2014 .
The list of recommended candidates would be displayed on the Notice Board and Department of Geography website on 10th February, 2014.
The interview will be held on Wednesday, 19th February, 2014
