National Talent Search Exam + 5th Standard

there is a national talent search exam every year. Where does it take place and what is eligibility for this exam? What are the subject or tests that the student need to prepare for this exam. My son is in 5th standard can he apply for this exam

What qualifications are required for NTSE 2012? What are the places where the exam will be held? Is there any website from where I can download the application form for this exam?

NSTSE 2014 Examination Pattern
There will be a separate question paper for each class. The medium of the exam will be in English only. All questions are in objective – type with no negative marking for wrong answers.
Class II : ( No. of Questions – 50; Marks – 50 )
Class III : ( No. of Questions – 75; Marks – 75 )
Class IV to XII : ( No. of Questions – 100; Marks – 100 )

Fee details:
140/- which includes : Examination Fee ( 100/- ) + SPR ( 15/- ) + Stamps for sending Success series book, Hall Ticket, Certificate & SPR ( 25/- ). ( or )
185/- which includes : Examination Fee ( 100/- ) + SPR ( 15/- ) + Set of Question papers ( 40/- ) + Stamps for sending Success series book, MQP, Hall Ticket, Certificate & SPR ( 35/- ).
