How to get the admission in IIT?

IIT JEE Mains to be held on 7th April 2013, IIT JEE 2013 has been replaced by JEE MAIN 2013 and JEE Advanced 2013.

Online Application form fee for IIT JEE 2013 is:

Rs. 1600/- for OBC/General Male Candidates
Rs. 800/- for PD/SC/ST Male Candidates
NO FEE at all for Female Candidates

Type of Examination:

Paper 1:

SUBJECTS:
Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

TYPE OF QUESTIONS:
Objective type with equal weight age to Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics

MODE OF EXAM:
Pen and Paper based OR Computer based

Paper 2:

SUBJECTS:
Mathematics – Part I Aptitude Test – Part II & Drawing Test – Part III

TYPE OF QUESTIONS:
Objective type Objective type Questions to test drawing aptitude

MODE OF EXAM:
Only Pen and Paper based
