University Salary Scale

The University's salary scales include annual, weekly and hourly rates, Clinical Scales and on-cost information.

Annual salaries
Grades 1–6 and training grade
Grades 7–12

Weekly and hourly rates
Weekly and hourly rates

Clinical scales
Clinical research associates and clinical lecturers
Nursing staff

Pay
Your pay will depend on the grade of your post. Each post is assigned to a specific grade, within the grading structure 1–12.

Method of payment

Salary will be paid directly into your bank, building society or equivalent account. Salaries are paid on the 26th of the month (or the Friday before if that date is a non-working day). You will receive a monthly statement of your pay and is issued by the Payroll Section of the Human Resources Division through your Head of Institution.

University of Cambridge was founded in 1209, it is a collegiate public research university and it is the second-oldest university in the English-speaking world and the world's fourth-oldest surviving university.

The salary ranges for grades 1 to 11 include contribution increments for Assistant and Academic-related staff.
