The Bauer College of Business under University of Houston offers a limited number of merit-based scholarships to well qualified MBA applicants. These scholarships are available to US citizens, US residents or International applicants. Recipients who are non-Texas residents qualify for in-state tuition. Scholarship awards range from $5,000-$10,000. All books are provided each semester (Full Time Day Program Only). Recipients receive a two-year subscription to the Wall Street Journal. Scholarship Criteria MBA students must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Bauer Excellence Scholarship: Have applied to the Bauer MBA Full-time Day or Professional MBA program and plan to attend the program during the academic year they are admitted. Must demonstrate above average academic achievement (competitive GMAT or GRE scores and GPA). Have demonstrated leadership potential based on professional and academic accomplishments. Few other scholarships available: Aiming at Entrepreneurship -$4,000, 3.2 GPA, full time, accounting, finance entrepreneurship majors, at least 24 hours completed AGL Resources -Full-time, Sophomore, Junior, Senior or MBA, member of GEMI, GPA > 2.75, Working at least part-time Amegy Bank -Finance major, Officer of Finance Association, 3.5 GPA, completed at least 12 hours Andrea Joy Yarbrough- Full-time, Undergrad, Accounting or Finance major, GPA > 3.0, Working at least part-time Andrea Shiloh Student Leader Scholarship -Undergraduate, Full-Time, at least a 2.5 GPA, Must be an officer of the Finance Association Andy & Barbara Gessner- Full time undergrad or grad, leadership qualities APICS -Full-time, Student member of APICS Aron S. & Anaruth P.
