IEEEXtreme 5.0 was held in the year 2011-12 so the results of this program is attached below. IEEEXtreme is a global challenge in which teams of IEEE Student members—advised and proctored by an IEEE member, and often supported by an IEEE Student Branch. They compete in a 24-hour time span against each other to solve a set of programming problems. Eligibility: Participants need to register themselves at IEEE. They need to team up in pair of 3. Universities and colleges can have multiple teams. Each team must have a proctor to supervise during the 24-hour programming competition. Team members must solve and complete the problems without assistance from others. Prizes: All active participants in the competition will receive a digital certificate and gift. "Active participant" is described as a team that makes a reasonable attempt at solving a problem. 1st prize: those who win 1st position will get the tip of their choice at any place around the world. 2nd position: those who win 2nd position will get the iPad Air. 3rd position: these people will get iPad Mini. Registration: The registration were open through 14 Oct. 15.
