The concerned Institutional Research Committee (IRC) may allow the topic of research to be modified upto one year after registration.

A candidate for admission to the Ph.D. programme must have obtained any
of the following academic qualifications in the relevant discipline of
research:-
1. has passed MDS (3-Years Course) in the relevant discipline of
Prosthodontics / Conservative Dentistry / Periodontics / Pedodontics /
Orthodontics / Oral Surgery / Oral Pathology / Oral Medicine &
Radiology / Public Health Dentistry from an Institute recognized by the
Dental Council of India.

2. The NRI / Foreign candidates should have passed a Post-Graduate
Examination which is equivalent to MDS qualification in India and
approved by the Dental Council of India.
