The Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R. Medical University Act, 1987 (Act No.37 of 1987) received the assent of the President of India in, 1987. By Act No.9 of 1991, it was ordered that the Act may be called the Tamilnadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, Act, 1987. This affiliating University started functioning from 1988 and is governed by the said Act.

Bachelor of Pharmacy
This program is for full time course. The duration of this course is 4 years. .B.Pharma. (Pharmacy) - Stands for Bachelor of Pharmacy. Typically, B.Pharm. course is a 4 year course, minimum eligibility for which is an intermediate (10+2) with subjects such as biology, physics and chemistry.

You need Tamil Nadu Dr. MGR Medical University MBBS Pharmacology – I exam paper, here I am giving:

I. Essay Questions:
1. (i) Classify antihypertensive drugs.
(ii) Write the mechanism of action and pharmacological action of captopril.
(iii) Therapeutic uses and adverse effects of captopril.

2. (i) Classify NSAID’s.
