As per your need here I am giving syllabus of UPPSC lower subordinate main exam: Syllabus: General Science. Current Events of National and International Importance History of India: economic, social, cultural and political aspects of Indian History Indian National Movement: nature and character of the Indian freedom movement, growth and nationalism and attainment of independence. Indian Polity and Economy: Indian Polity including the Indian Constitution, Panchayati Raj and Community Development, broad features of Indian Economy and Planning. World Geography and Population: general understanding of the subject will be expected with emphasis on physical / ecological, economic and socio-demographic aspects of Geography of India. Candidates are expected to have general awareness about the above topics with special references to Uttar Pradesh. Agriculture Section – One importance of Agriculture in National Economy agro-climatic regions of U.P. factors affecting geographical distribution of Commercial Crops. Importance and role of agricultural economics in agricultural production, rural credit, Systems and types of farming and factors affecting them Marketing of agricultural inputs and produce, Role of Co – operative and regulated markets in increasing marketing efficiency. Rural Development Projects and its role in increasing agricultural production and rural employment. Farm management, scope and its importance in agricultural development, Principles of farm management, farm planning and budgeting, problems of agricultural Inbourn and Methods, of increasing agricultural productions and rural employment. Agricultural implements, machinary and plant protection equipments, their importance and uses in agriculture. Types of soil erosion, methods and practices of its control. Water harvesting and watershed management. Section Two Concept of Crop rotation, Mixed cropping, Inter cropping, Relay cropping, Multiple cropping, Strip cropping and Multi – story cropping and their control. Cultural practices for major careal, pulses, oil and sugar crops of Plains and Hills of U.P. Role and fruits and vegetables in human diet. Cultivation of Mango, Guava, Papaya, Anola, Cirrus, Apple and Peach cultivation of cole crops, cucurbits, Bolanaceous crop and legume vegetables. Preservation of fruits and vegetables and their products, Pesis and diseases affecting major agronomical and horticultural crops, Principles of pest and diseases control and integrated pest management. Essential elements for plant growth and development, judicious use of organic, inorganic and bio-fertilizers; uptake of nutrients and factors affecting them, major soil types of U.P. with special referene of acidic alkaline and saline soils, their problems and reclamation. , Principles of plant breeding for the improvement of major agronomical crops, methods of breeding adopted for self and cross-pollinated crops. In the Indian National movement the candidates are expected to have synoptic view of the freedom movement growth of nationalist and attainment of Independence. (2) Indian and World GeographyPhysical Social Economic Geography of India and the World : Questions on the Geography of India will relate to Physical Social & Economic Geography of India In World Geography only general understanding of the subject will be expected. (3) Indian Polity and Governance Constitution Political system Panchayati Raj & Public Policy rightsissues etc : Indian polity and Governance questions will test knowledge of countrys constitution political system including Panchayati Raj and Community Development.
