As you asked about Government Arts College, Ooty house, so as per me Government Arts College, Ooty is located in the centre of the Ooty town at the top of the historical Stone House Hill and the historical first building in the Nilgiris named the Stone House Hill is the part of the college.

Before our freedom of country the present building of Government Arts College, Ooty was the summer secretariat of the British Madras Presidency. Still at present the Oak planted by Lord Sullivan in the 18th Century and the two other Oak trees planted by Lord and Lady Wellington, in this college garden, when Ooty celebrates 100 Years.
