This is anoop sharma from allahabad. I have completed my graduation. may i know, all the information about pgdca at NIPS Allahabad. And please tell me all important dates for the admission in pgdca.

PGDCA Eligibility is Graduate in any discipline. Minimum Duration for is course 1 years (2 Semesters) and
Maximum Duration is 2 years.

Fee for the course is given below:
Registration Fee: Rs. 500/- at the time of admission only
Programme Fee: Rs. 8,500/- per Sem.
Examination Fee: Rs. 500/- per Sem.

PGDCA Admissions are taken in July and January every Year. Admission notification is given in the official website.

PGDCA examinations conducted in twice a year. Examinations are conducted in June and December every year and normally conducted in the 1st week of these months.

Duration of PGDCA : one year

Syllabus:
Fundamentals of computer and Information Technology
Operating systems (Dos, Linux, Win 98, Windows NT)
RDBMS Programming in FoxPro
PC Packages for Media ( MS-Word, MS-Excel, PowerPoint etc)
GUI programming in Visual Basic
Internet and E-Commerce
OOPS & programming in C++
System Analysis and Design
Computer Practical
Project work

The minimum score necessary for passing is as under.

Theory 40%
Practical 40%
Aggregate 45%

Admission for PGDCA course is start in month of January and June.
