The Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Mumbai, the first of its kind in South East Asia was founded in the year 1954. courses it offers are as follows:

B Sc Degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration (NCHMCT & IGNOU)
As mentioned in the JEE Brochure


3 Years BSc Degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration (National Council and IGNOU) - NRI Students
12th or equivalent with English as a subject with minimum 50% marks.
OR
General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London /Cambridge / Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level
OR
High School Certificate Examination of the Cambridge University OR
Any Board / University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian University equivalent to 10+2 pattern of Senior Secondary education.

Years of Stay in abroad : 5 years inclusive of 11th & 12th standard

Craftsmanship Course in Food Production & Patisserie (National Council)
Successful completion of S.S.C. (10th class of 10+2 pattern) or equivalent qualification with English as one of the subject in the Final of the School Examinations.

Craftsmanship Course in Food & Beverage Service (National Council)
Successful completion of S.S.C. (10th class of 10+2 patter) or equivalent qualification with English as one of the subject in the Final of the School Examinations.

12 weeks Certificate Course in Bartending
Minimum SSC

12 weeks Certificate Course in Cookery

12 weeks Certificate Course in Bakery

Hunar Se Rozgar- Hospitality Training Program by The Ministry of Tourism
8th Pass

Hunar se Rozgar – Food & Beverage Service
8th Pass

Hunar se Rozgar – Bakery
8th Pass

Hunar se Rozgar – Housekeeping utility
8th Pass

Institute of Hotel Management Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition was established in 1972 as Food Craft Institute under the State Technical Education Department and sponsored by Govt. of India and Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

Courses Offered


B.Sc. Programme in Hospitality & Hotel Administration
ELIGIBILITY:
Successful completion of 10+2 examination or it's equivalent.
Candidates who are appearing in qualifying examination at the time of entrance are also eligible to apply provisionally subject to the condition that they should produce the proof of passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission.
The candidates selected provisionally will not be allowed to join/continue in case they fail in 10+2 examination.
Age: 22 years for General category & 25 years for SC/ST category.

Post Graduate Diploma in Accommodation Operations & Management
ELIGIBILITY:
Graduate Boys & Girls in any stream from a recognized university.
Age: 25 years for General category & 28 years for SC/ST category.

Craftsmanship Course in Food & Beverage Service
ELIGIBILITY:
S.S.C or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects in the final of the school examination
Age: 22 years for General category & 25 years for SC/ST category.

Craftsmanship Course in Food Production

Various course offered under MoTs scheme of CBSP are fully funded by Govt. of India

Mode of Selection
:
Admission is done by the Institute itself as per the norms of the Council, based on the qualifying marks and interview marks.

Comes out during May/June in local newspapers.
