I doubt whether the school was inaugurated in 1929 or little earlier. I am yet to ascertain it.
However, it had compeleted 25 years before I joined the Form I in the year 1955. (Those days it was Form I to Form VI). Unfortunately the teachers of those times were not very much enthusiastic to record any history. One reason may be that the NSS Management used to transfer the teachers very often. Panicker Sir hailing from Chingavanam and K C Nair from Vechuchira were the most popular teachers before we reached the High School section in 1958. They used to organise cultural activities of the students. I still remember our seniors presenting good dramas on the Anniversary day. Both Mr. Panicker and Mr K C Nair were the motivating force behind such activities. .

I did not get the opportunity to attend any class of Mr. Panicker. But, Mr K C Nair taught us two years. After that he became a College lecturer and retired as English Professor from NS S College, Cherthala.

Vidwan Kurumalloor Narayana Pillai, who was allowed to remain in Kidangoor for a long period, had given us the strength to write something in Malayalam. I still remember the most talented artist Mr P G Narayanan Nair, our drawing master.

Late Mr. N N Namboodiri of Nellipuzha Illam was the most efficient Physics and English Teacher. After he became the headmaster of the School, our School gave 100% results in SSLC examinations.

Prominent Nair leaders of Kidangoor like Mr. Karuvellil Neelakanta Pillai, Mr. Mekkattu Ramakrishnana Pillai, Mr. Padyattu Narayana Pillai, Mr. Kaikkolayil Madhavan Nair, were few amongst the team of local people who helped Shri Mannath Padmanabhan to establish our School in Kidangoor. They worked like labourers for days together.

We 26 pupils of 1960 SSLC batch will be meeting in a get together on 19-7-2015 in PKV Memorial Library hall, Kidangoor. A rare meeting after 55 long long years.
