National Deficiency Academy or Naval Academy exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission.
It is 3 year training course.
A candidate is required to specify clearly the Services for which he wishes to be considered in the order of his preference.

Candidates considered only those services only for which they prefer.

Before choosing preferences for different courses, the candidates first decide the Academies viz. National Defence Academy and Naval Academy.

Admission to the above courses will be made on the results of the written examination.

Eligibility:

Nationality: Indian
Age limit: above 19 years
Qualification: 10+2
Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit
Minimum acceptable height is 157.5 cms
A candidate must be an unmarried male.

Important dates
Date of Notification: 4 May 2013
Last date of form Submission: 3 June 2013
Examination date: 11 Aug

Exam Dates and Schedule
Tentative Schedule (Examination held twice a year)

Notification of Examination Sept. - Oct. & May - June
Conduct of Examination March - April & Aug. - Sept

Selection procedure:
1. Written Exam
2. Officer potentiality test
3. Aptitude test

The United States Naval Academy is a four-year coeducational federal service academy located in Annapolis, Maryland, United States. It was established in 1845 under Secretary of the Navy George Bancroft.

Requirements for Admission at USNA-

Eligibility:

United States citizen:
Good moral character;
At least 17 year of age
Unmarried;
Not pregnant; and
No dependents.

You must take either the SAT or ACT to submit an application to United States Naval Academy.

The average SAT score composite at United States Naval Academy is a 1332.

The 25th percentile SAT score is 1180, and the 75th percentile SAT score is 1380.

The average GPA at United States Naval Academy is 3.86.
