UPSC For Engineers Exam

I want to know UPSC Engineers exam can you give me information about this ?

Union service public commission is organized exam ever year for engineering streams.
Here I am providing you Tentative schedule for examination:-

(A) Tentative Schedule

(i) Notification of Examination January/February
(ii) Conduct of Examination June/July

Exam for these streams:-
Civil engineering
Mechanical engineering
Electrical engineering
Electronics and tele-communication engineering

Age limits:-Students must have between 21-30years of 1st august of the year OF examination

Educational qualification:-
Student having degree in Engineering from a recognized university or equivalent . M.Sc degree or its equivalent with Wireless Communications, Electronics, Radio Physics or Radio Engineering as special subjects also acceptable for certain Services/posts only.


Candidates also appearing in engineering degree or equivalent examination are also eligible for this exam.

Written Examination
Paper I (Objective type) General Ability Test
(Part A: General English)
(Part B: General Studies) 200 Marks

Papers II & III (Objective type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
/Electronics & Tele-Communication
Engineering 200 Marks for each paper
Papers IV & V(Conventional Type) Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering/Electrical Engineering
/Electronics & Tele-communication
Engineering 200 Marks for each paper
Total marks for written Examination 1000 Marks

Personality Test 200 Marks

UPSC conducts Indian engineering service (IES ) exam as Engineers Exam.

Eligibility:

Qualifications
