Central Footwear Training Institute carries out the Central Footwear Training Institute Entrance Test.

The examination is conducted for the selection of students for the Diploma Course in Footwear Manufacture & Design.

The course is allied to the Textile Institute in United Kingdom.
Students who clear the test will be allowed to join the program offered by the institute.

Entrance Date: 26 June 2014 (Tentative)

Structure and Pattern of CFTI

the exam is an objective type paper.
Each question will have multiple choices for the student to select from.
Both the general and the technical aptitude will be tested.

In order to test the ability of the student, there will also be questions relating English language and Reasoning Ability. Each question will be of equal marks.
There will not be any negative marks for the incorrect answers.

Qualification Criteria for CFTI

The students in order to apply for the examination should have a minimum qualification of a pass in Plus Two or equivalent examination.

The student should have done the course from a recognized University / Board.
In addition, the student should be aged between 17 – 25 years as on 1st of January as per the notification date.
