I want some information about The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Please provide me the same.

The institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) is established under an Act of Parliament (The company Secretaries Act, 1980). ICSI is the only recognized professional Institute of India which develops and regulates the profession of company secretaries in India. In year 1960, the Company Law Board started a course in Company Secretary Ship leading to the award of Government Diploma in Company Secretary Ship.

This institute awards the certificate of Company Secretary to a candidate qualifying for the membership of the institute.

To get certificate of CS, candidate has to qualify three series of examination.

CS Foundation
CS Executive: Group I & Group II
CS Final

Fee Structure for CS Course

The fee for CS Foundation Programme is: Rs.3,600/-
For Executive Programme: Rs.7000/- for (Commerce Graduates while) & Rs.7750/- (for Non Commerce Students)
