The Central Board of Excise and Customs (CBEC) is the nodal national agency accountable for administering Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax in India. Types of refund/rebate provided by central excise 1. Refund of central excise duty. 2. Refund of pre-deposits. 3. Rebate of duty paid on good exported. 4. Rebate of duty on inputs used in the developed of goods exported. 5. Rebate on exports of pan masala and gutka. 6. Refund of accumulated CENVAT credit for export under bond. CBEC extends the last date of e-filing of Service Tax Return (ST 3) for the period October, 2012 to March, 2013 from 25th April to 31st August, 2013 vide CBEC’s Order No 3/2013-ServiceTax dated 23-4-2013.
