GATE Eligibility :
You have to passed B.E./B.Tech/B.Arch or Master’s degree in any branch of Science / Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent from any well recognized university ..

Exam pattern :
There will be a total of 65 questions carrying 100 marks,

GATE would contain questions of four different types in various papers:
Multiple choice questions carrying 1 or 2 marks each;
Common data questions (which are also multiple choice questions)..
Linked answer questions (which are also multiple choice questions)

Syllabus for General Aptitude (GA)
(COMMON TO ALL)
Verbal Ability: English grammar, sentence completion, verbal analogies, word groups, instructions, critical reasoning and verbal deduction.
Numerical Ability: Numerical computation, numerical estimation, numerical reasoning and data interpretation.
