I want to tell you that the entrance exam for this year’s PhD is over so you have to try next year in order to get the admission. Here I am giving you the information of 2013 entrance exam:

Exam Pattern:
Paper 1 will consists of 50 question of 100 marks

Paper 2 will consists of 100 questions of 200 marks of specific subjects

Entrance exam Fees:
General category Rs. 900 /-
OBC (NCL category Rs. 450 /-
SC / ST / PH / VH Rs. 225 /-

Entrance exam Schedule:
1. On-line applications can be submitted up to: 5 April 2013
2. Last date for receiving hard copy/printout Two copies of On-line submitted application form in the office of Admission Cell, Dr. Harisingh Gour University, Sagar (M.P.) by Speed Post/Registered Post: 15 April 2013
3. Date of Entrance Test: 29th May 2013 (9.00 am to 12.30 pm)
4. Entrance Test Centre: Sagar
5. Tentative dates of the announcement of result. Result will be available from: 10 -15 June 2013
6. Date of Interview: 5 July 2013

as per my knowledge Sagar University does not offered PHD program in Pure mathematics and for phd in Pure mathematics you can take admission in Department of Mathematics of IISc which offered excellent opportunities for research in both pure and applied mathematics, and you will be selected from GATE, CSIR-UGC or NBHM examinations followed by interview at there. for more info you can contact on here:
