The MBA in Health Policy & Management is administered jointly by the School of Public Health ,Health Policy and Management Department, and the Graduate School of Management,Health Sector Management Program.

The MBA/MPH in Health Policy & Management is an accelerated full-time program in 2 years.

Program Requirements


The dual degree requires completion of a total of 80 credits, 34 credits in residence at the School of Public Health and 46 from the School of Management.

16 of the 34 SPH credits must be from the Health Policy and Management Department.

Admission

Applicants must submit completed applications to both the School of Public Health and the School of Management.

Once enrolled, Applicants pursuing the MBA/MPH in Health Care Management will join the HSM program at the School of Management and the HPM department at the School of Public Health.

MPH program graduates will have the ability to:
Analyze relevant data to estimate the burden and patterns of disease in communities in order to prioritize health needs;

Identify the determinants of health and disease;

Use systematic approaches to develop, implement, and evaluate public health programs and services;
