Bangalore university zoology

When did Bangalore University introduce department of zoology? I want to do B.Sc in zoology from Bangalore University so please tell me when the university will release application form for admission in this program in 2012? Do I need to pass any entrance exam or selection is based on the marks of 12th class?

Eligibility for M.Sc. in Zoology :
You have to passed B.Sc degree with Zoology as one of the optional subject from any well recognized university and you must a minimum of 50% marks in the optional subject and a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate.
