The Osmania University was established in 1918 and approved to UGC and accredited to NAAC or it also offers Phd Program, but at this time it has not publish notification for Phd Program. The Candidates have to qualify in the Ph.D. entrance test conducted by the Osmania University. Every Year Osmania University published their PhD Admission Notification in the month of May . PhD is a 3 degree courses in Osmania University. PhD courses in the different subjects under the faculties of Oriental Languages, Science, Technology, Pharmacy, Arts, Commerce, Management, Education, Law, Social Sciences, Engineering and Informatics Eligibility Criteria: Applicants must have obtained a Postgraduate degree from a recognized university or a Postgraduate degree through distance mode from a recognized university with atleast 55% marks (50% marks in case of SC/ST applicants ) Test Pattern The eligibility test will be of 90 minutes duration and question paper consists of objective (multiple choice only) type questions Maximum marks for eligibility test: 100 marks The medium of eligibility test will be English only except for language subjects The eligibility test will consist of any 3 or 4 varieties of objective type items such as analogies, classification, matching, comprehension of a research study / experiment / theoretical point of view, etc., with multiple answers besides the usual multiple choice items Tentative Dates Date of commencement of online applications: second week of Jul 2015 Last Date for submission of online applications (Without late fee): second week of August 2015 Last Date for submission of online applications (With a late fee of Rs 400/-): third week of August 2015 Contact: Osmania University Osmania Univeristy Main Rd, Hyderabad, Telangana 500007 040 2768 2363 Map:
