IIEST Shibpur

I want to apply in IIEST Shibpur. Please tell me from where I can download the application forms for the same? Will there be any separate entrance test in which I must appear in order to take admission in this college? Please tell me the minimum eligibility required to take admission in this college.

You can download the application forms to apply for IIST from the official website of IIST as soon as the application procedure starts. To get selected, you must appear to the JEM 2012 which is conducted by West Bengal Joint entrance Examinations Board.

Candidate must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks
Candidate must be having Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2

The candidates will be short listed on the basis of their academic and CAT/MAT scores.
The short listed candidates will have to appear for GD and PI. 50% weightage will be
given on their academic background and 50% on performance in GD and PI.
Relaxation: For SC/ST candidates, the marks criteria will be minimum 40% for Honors
and equivalent Bachelor’s Degree.
No. of Seats: Total 60 (Intake of students is subject to change). SC/ST quota as per
Government. Rules.
