I have done b. tech . now I want to do m .tech. from IIIT Bangalore . When will the admission process start for 2012 ? what is the last date for application form? Please give me the tentative dates. What is the fee structure for it? Is there any entrance exam for admission? I have done B.tech. Now I want to do MBA from IIIT Bangalore. So I want to know about the admission procedure for M.Tech program. Is there any entrance exam of IIIT banglore or the selection will be on the basis of GATE? How much fee I have to pay? Give me the name of all M.Tech. specializations please.

The academic sessions of IIITB (International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore) is divided into six parts: a preparatory term, four regular semesters, a summer term. M Tech Admission Procedure Eligibility The minimum qualification is a first-class B.E., B. Tech, or equivalent. First class degree holders in 3-year undergraduate programmes followed by Master Degree with first class in any of the physical sciences or an MCA degree with first class can also apply. Final-year students expecting to graduate by the year of admission may also apply. First class or equivalent is required in 12th (or equivalent) grade as well. Selection Procedure Admission is on the basis of performance in the GATE examination. GATE scores from the following disciplines will be considered for this purpose: CS - Computer Science and IT EC - Electronics and Communication Engineering EE - Electrical Engineering International Students Foreign nationals (FNs) and non-resident Indians (NRIs) can apply for the M.Tech programme. One can apply with valid GRE and TOEFL scores. Only those students whose undergraduate education was in an Anglophone country (i.e. Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, and the US) are exempt from TOEFL. Shortlisted FNs and NRIs applicants have to go through an online interview. Working Professionals Working professionals applying must get leave for the duration of the M.Tech programme. One has to submit a letter, during the admission, from a supervisor or other authorized representative of the employer stating that there is no objection to the applicant's joining IIITB as a student. One will also need sponsorship from the employer, or obtain support from other sources to meet their costs, as scholarships and other financial support are not available to working students.
