The Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) is conducted by the Dr A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in all the technical institutions/ colleges

Admission to various UG & PG courses is provided on the basis of merit obtained in UPSEE.

Phd Psychology Program-

The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) conducts examination for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Technical) in the Tamil Nadu General Service.

TNPSC DSP exam Eligibility

A first class Degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering of any University or Institution recognised by the University Grants Commission for the purpose of its Grants (and)

Must have had continuous experience for a period of not less than three years in Receiver Servicing field (installing, maintaining and repairing Radio receivers) in any well known firm or institution

Age limit-

Age should be below 35 years for SCs, STs, MBCs/DCs, BC(OBCM)s, BCMs and Destitute Widows of all castes.

Jamia Millia Islamia University offers reserved seats to certain categories under the JMI Reservation Criteria.

The categories of students who are given reservation usually belong to the minority category.

The reservation criteria of JMI shows the percentage of seats reserved for all categories and the required eligibility to fit in the category.

A certain percentage of seats will be reserved for Muslims, Persons with Disabilities, Kashmiri migrants and more.

All admissions of the reserved category will be done based on the candidate’s rank in JEE Main

Some seats will also be reserved for internal students of Jamia Millia Islamia University.

JMI Reservation Criteria

For Muslim Minority

30 per cent of the total number of seats in each course will be reserved for the Muslim applicants.

Syllabus

General Intelligence:

The questions in this test will be based on understanding instructions, determining relationships, similarities, relevance, drawing conclusions and similar intellectual functions.

General Awareness:

The questions in this part will be aimed at testing the candidates general awareness of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions will be designed to test the knowledge of the current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India and its neighbouring countries especially pertaining to History, culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity and Scientific Research.

Comprehension and writing Ability of English:

Questions will be designed to test the candidates understanding and knowledge of English language, its vocabulary, grammar, sentence structure, synonyms and antonyms etc. There will also be questions on comprehension of passages.
Arithmetic:

Questions will be designed to test the ability of the candidate to perform fundamental arithmetic operations and his skill in working out problems relating to percentages, ratio and proportion, average, estimates, rounding numbers, use of tables and graphs, mensuration, time and distance, ratio and time.
