Use of Writing KVPY The merit list is based on 75% weight-age for Aptitude Test marks and 25% weight-age for the interview marks in the streams SA, SB and SX. SA can be written by students studying Science stream in class 11. SX can be written by students studying Science stream in class 12. SB can be written by students studying Science stream in first year of graduation Objectives of KVPY The main objective of KVPY is To identify and encourage talented students with aptitude for research The program strives to assist the students to realize their potential and to ensure that the best scientific talent is developed for research and growth in the country Provides scholarship and contingency grant (up to the pre-Ph.D. level) to the selected students Benefits of KVPY KVPY fellows get opportunity to spend some time in scientific institutions attending lectures by experts in different fields of science, engineering or medicine, experience a research environment with science in action, watch scientists at work, interact with scientists, visit nearby scientific research laboratories and institutions, and exchange views with other research students. |
