Aakashd | Re: MBA VS MS in USA MBA VS MS in USA MBA is more generalist study, MS focuses more on a particular field of study e.g. Finance, Management, Marketing, IT, Analytics etc. Generally MBA in US is 2 year long while MS is mostly of 12-16 months. The average work experience in a MBA program is generally 4-5 years and in an MS programs it is less than a year. MS is US is a much better choice than MBA. Kesari | Re: MBA VS MS in USA You want to know about MBA and MS course in USA so An MBA (Masters in Business Administration) is a master degree which is related to business. If anyone build this his/her future in management field than he/she can do MBA course? In this course you will learn about economics, markets, finance some technology/operations HRM etc…. MS is a technical degree. in this course candidate should work in research labs, or become a computer specialist in a company. Here you will learn about advanced computing, algorithms. You could focus on informatics, robotics, etc. Most programs require a GRE test score and possibly a TOEFL again. |

Educhamp | Re: MBA VS MS in USA For the sake of example, let us suppose, you have completed BE. You sure to do a Masters degree in US But, you are confused whether to do MBA or MS. How do you decide? There are many paths you can take for your career in front. There are 2 most prominent ones. Technical career path where you go like software engineer, senior software engineer, and designer/architect and so on where you don’t run people these are ideal careers for people who don’t like running other people. Come to office, attend meetings do you have job at your own timing and keep going. Another path is Management lines after being in technical/engineering Engineer, Sr.Engineer and Manager where you will start managing your team do appraisals; give pay lift up, if required like in this economy fire people. If the second path looks more attractive to you should chose a MBA, if the first path brings more of you can chose MS. Of course, after coming to US, you have a choice of doing MBA after MS or MS after MBA as there is no age limit. |
