I want to tell you some thing . as we know that IAS is stand for Indian Administrative Services.If you have graduation degree (B.Sc )from recognized university then you can apply for IAS Exam. IAS exam conducted for UPSC through civil service exams .

I am telling you information about the eligibility.

you are applicable for IAS exam only if your degree is recognized otherwise not .

A applicants must have reached the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years .

UPPER Age Relaxation
• A maximum of three years for OBC candidates
• A maximum of five years for candidates belonging to a SC/ST candidates

Number of Attempts
• Four attempts for General category candidates and OBC category candidates under the Creamy layer
• Seven attempts for OBC category candidates
• To SCs/STs, No limit on the number of attempts

• For IAS and IPS, a candidate must be a citizen of India

Selection process for IAS exam are –its consists three stages. They are

1) Preliminary Test
2)Mains Exam
3)Personal Interview.

IAS exam - Indian Administrative Service exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC)

Yes, definitely you are eligible for IAS after successful completion of B.Sc in Animation. Every graduate are eligible to apply for IAS exam as its eligibility states that you must be graduate from any recognized University

Educational requirement for IAS Exam
You must have passed graduation degree from any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification

Other Eligibility Criteria for IAS

-You must be a citizen of India.

Age Limits:
-You must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years
-The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable :

upto a maximum of five years -- Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe.
upto a maximum of three years -- Other Backward Classes who are eligible to avail of reservation applicable to such candidates.
upto a maximum of five years --if a candidate had ordinarily been domiciled in the State of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from the 1st January, 1980 to the 31st day of December, 1989.
upto a maximum of three years-- in the case of Defence Services personnel disabled in operations during hostilities
upto a maximum of five years --in the case of ex-servicemen including Commissioned Officers and ECOs/SSCOs who have rendered at least five years Military Service
Upto a maximum of five years ---in the case of ECOs/SSCOs who have completed an initial period of assignment of five years Military Service
upto a maximum of 10 years ---in the case of blind, deaf - muteand orthopaedically handicapped persons.

IAS Exam Syllabus

Preliminary Examination (CSP)

Paper I – (200 marks)
Duration: Two hours
Current events of national and international importance
History of India and Indian National Movement
Indian and World Geography – Physical, Social, Economic geography of India and the World.
Indian Polity and Governance – Constitution, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Public Policy, Rights Issues, etc.
Economic and Social Development – Sustainable Development, Poverty, Inclusion, Demographics, Social Sector Initiatives, etc.
General issues on Environmental ecology, Bio-diversity and Climate Change – that do not require subject specialization

Paper II- (200 marks) Duration: Two hours
Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
Logical reasoning and analytical ability
Decision making and problem solving
General mental ability
Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. -Class X level)
English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).
Questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level (last item in the Syllabus of Paper-II) will be tested through passages from
English language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.
The questions will be of multiple choice, objective type.

Main Examination--

Main examination has two optional subjects (two papers each carries 300 marks),
One General Studies (two papers each carries 300 marks),
One essay (carries 200 marks) – total 2000 marks.

Optional Subjects for the Main Examination:
Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Civil Engineering, History, Law, Management, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Science, Philosophy, Physics, Political Science and International Relations, Commerce and Accountancy, Economics, Electrical Engineering, Geography, Geology, Psychology, Public Administration, Sociology, Statistics, Zoology.
